Wooden boardwalks circle a still lake amid the upland peat bogs of the Slavkov Forest, passing a picturesque hunting lodge from 1875. The most beloved walk among spa guests — level and lovely in every season.

About the place
The Kladská settlement was built in 1875 by Prince Schönburg-Waldenburg as a hunting seat deep in the forests of the Slavkov Forest — its picturesque timber buildings in Alpine style are still mirrored in the Kladská pond. All around stretches the Kladská Peat Bogs national nature reserve, whose raised bogs rank among the most precious in Central Europe.
The boardwalk circuit around the pond is just under two kilometres, level, stroller-friendly and lovely in every season — the bog turns red in autumn and frosts over in winter. There is a restaurant by the lodge, and Kladská also makes the ideal starting point for longer hikes through the Slavkov Forest.
