It is a medical field, which specialises in using natural medicinal sources for curing various types of illnesses. Nowadays balneology uses classical methods in connection with the latest medical knowledge.

Diuretic effect. Some mineral springs in Mariánské Lázně give this effect, and that is why they are suitable for curing urinary tract and kidney stones, when it is necessary to remove excessive fluid.
Nordic walking
Nordic walking is sports walking with special walking sticks, which brings effective movement and an increase in physical condition. During a walk, up to 600 muscles are working, it is circa 90% of all body muscles. The consumption of calories increases by up to 40% and the average consumption up to 400 kcal per 1 hour. It increases aerobic endurance. It has a positive effect on muscle imbalance. It strengthens muscles in the upper part of the body, improves heart activity and blood circulation, it conserves hip and knee joints. For interested clients we have prepared three types of walks divided into light, medium and demanding.
Peloids
They are inorganic and organic pulp – special soils, which occur near mineral springs. It is especially mud, bog and peat. Bog and peat are used for medicinal compresses and wraps.
