2012 - year full of celebrating for the company
Marienbad Kur Spa Hotels
The company Marienbad Kur Spa Hotels has a lot of reasons to celebrate this year.
The company is a member of the biggest chain of spa hotels in Europe, the Danubius Hotels Group, which is going to celebrate its 40th anniversary on the 12th April. This anniversary is connected with a number of supporting events, a press conference, support of the representation of swimmers at the Summer Olympic Games in London or special „stay packages“. Each hotel of the company Spa Mariánské Lázně has prepared a special packet with treatments for its guests which includes a bonus in the form of a 40 minute massage, a free admission to 4 wellness centres and drinking cures based on drinking water from 4 mineral springs - the Cross, Rudolph, Caroline and Forest Springs.
Another anniversary the company will remember on the occasion of the Opening of the Spa Season is the 200th anniversary of the hotel Centrální Lázně (Central Spa). It is the oldest preserved spa building in Mariánské Lázně and a place where mineral water baths and gas baths were originally provided. It can boast the most extensive historical therapeutic department in the Czech Republic even today. A special exhibition will be mounted on this occasion whose opening will be a part of the gala programme of the Opening of the Spa Season and will take place on 12th May. We have also prepared a special offer for a jubilee stay on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Centrální Lázně hotel with a gala dinner, a coach ride and a special cake.
The third anniversary the company Marienbad Kur Spa Hotels is going to remember this year is its 20th anniversary of foundation. The joint-stock company was founded on 1st May 1992, it boasts the title „The Best Spa Company of the Year 2010“ and ranks as one of the most successful spa companies in the Czech Republic

Hotels spends the year 2011 in token of international certifications
and regaining the mark of quality.
As proof of the high quality of
medical care and services, a certificate from the German company TÜV
(2007) and the Czech association Medispa (2009) was awarded to the
company. Since 2011 we have also been holders of the International
certificate Europespa MED®.
TÜV is an internationally
recognised system of securing quality in the field of Medical Wellness.
Only hotels with minimum 4 stars, which fulfil more than 300 criteria,
provide pleasant ambience, unique cuisine and attractive Wellness
offers, can obtain this certificate.
EUROPESPA med® certificate
proves the high standard of the company and quality according to the
criteria of European medical association. This quality mark is based on
an innovative and complex principal of evaluation, which besides the
quality of the provided medical and tourist services, also includes the
quality of the whole procedure – ‘from medicinal springs to baths’ – and
it also includes the protection of the environment and food safety.
Medispa
is an interesting association of corporate bodies, which has the aim to
protect the good reputation and prove the quality of spas within the
Karlovy Vary region and to support its development. It cooperates with
all accredited spa organisations, which provide contributory as well as
complete spa care, and together they focus on protecting the spa
industry. Medispa supervises the quality of the provided services and
advertises spa services. All members of the Medispa association use
(individually as well as collectively) their membership in marketing and
advertising projects.
