The spa hotel Nové Lázně is considered by many to be the most beautiful building in Mariánské Lázně.
It was originally built by the town's founder, Abbot Karel Kaspar Reitenberger at the beginning of the 19th Century although looked considerably different then than it does today. At the end of the 19th Century a vast reconstruction took place thanks to its most renown frequent guest, the English King Edward VII. The hotel has however retained its original interiors including the Roman Baths, King Edward VII's Royal cabin and Franz Josef I's Empire cabin. In 2005 England's Prince Edward stayed in the Nové Lázně during his visit to Mariánské Lázně. The hotel has non-smoking policy.
